Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe also known as Ayra Starr, was born on 14 June 2002 in Cotonou, Benin Republic. She is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and model, who started her career as fashion designer with Quove Model Management before she preceded to purse her music career. Don Jazzy discovered the young female singer when he saw on Instagram the covers of the top artiste songs she did, which prompted him in signing the young female upcoming star to his record label called Marvins Records.

Ayra Starr acquired her BA degree in international relations and political science at the University of Les Cours Sonou, Benin Republic. She later moved with her parents and sibling to Lagos State, Nigerian. The young singer gained limelight with her first official single titled Away. The song Away enjoyed over 10 million streams across spotify, YouTube and Audio Mack, which peaked as number four the Nigerian's TurnTable Top 50 number 15 on the US Billboard Top Thriller Global.
